Centuries-old fighter of the Vaadwaur, reactivated after nine hundred years in stasis when the revived Vaadwaur turned on Voyager in Dragon's Teeth.
Vaadwaur assault ships were small fighters of the Vaadwaur, a species that once dominated the underspace corridors of the Delta Quadrant until rival powers devastated their world. Hundreds of Vaadwaur, with their weapons and ships, went into stasis beneath the planet's surface, expecting to wake after five years, but their equipment failed and they slept for nine centuries.
In Dragon's Teeth, Voyager revived them, and the Vaadwaur soon readied their old assault ships to reclaim their power. They turned on Voyager, and the ship escaped after a hard fight, leaving the Vaadwaur loose in the region.
