Large Kazon warship, the largest vessel in the fleets of the Kazon sects, which fought Voyager repeatedly and helped seize it in Basics.
The Kazon carrier was the largest type of warship used by the Kazon, the fractious sects that dominated part of the Delta Quadrant. Far bigger than the Kazon raider, it served as the flagship of a sect's leader, or Maje, and it could hold its own against Voyager when backed by smaller ships.
Kazon-Ogla warships fought Voyager and the Val Jean at the Caretaker's array in Caretaker, where Chakotay rammed one with his raider. Later Maje Culluh of the Kazon-Nistrim commanded from such a ship, advised by the Cardassian spy Seska, who had defected from Voyager and was eager to obtain Federation technology.
In Basics, Part II, Culluh's forces captured Voyager and marooned its crew on a primitive planet. The ship was retaken from within by the Doctor and the imprisoned Lon Suder, and Seska was killed in the fighting. Kazon warships were seldom seen once Voyager left their territory.
