A mining colony whose destruction in a tetrazine fire is blamed on Enterprise and threatens to end its mission.
Paraagan II is home to an alien mining colony with large amounts of tetrazine in its atmosphere. In Shockwave a shuttle visiting the colony appears to ignite the tetrazine, incinerating all 3,600 colonists. Archer blames himself, and Starfleet cancels Enterprise's mission and orders the ship home.
With help from Daniels, Archer learns that the Suliban had planted a device on the shuttle to cause the disaster. Enterprise returns to an asteroid field near Paraagan II, captures proof of the plan from a Suliban ship and clears its name.
