Pakled Planet is the Pakled homeworld, which Captain Freeman is falsely accused of bombing at the end of the second season.
Pakled Planet is the home of the Pakleds, whose clumsy but dangerous fleet threatens Starfleet throughout the early seasons. In First First Contact, Captain Carol Freeman is arrested for allegedly detonating a Veruvian bomb on the planet, a cliffhanger that sets up the following season.
In Grounded, Freeman stands trial for the bombing while Mariner and her friends try to clear her. Starfleet's undercover work reveals that the Pakleds framed Freeman themselves, hoping to gain a better home planet out of the incident.
