American actress who played four Star Trek characters, most notably the half-Klingon ambassador K'Ehleyr, mother of Worf's son Alexander.
Suzie Plakson, an American actress born in 1958, played four different characters across the franchise. On Star Trek: The Next Generation she first appeared as the Vulcan physician Selar in The Schizoid Man, then as K'Ehleyr, the half-Klingon, half-human ambassador and former love of Worf, in The Emissary and Reunion, in which the character is killed by Duras.
She later played a female Q in the Voyager episode The Q and the Grey and the Andorian Tarah in the Enterprise episode Cease Fire. She has also worked extensively on stage and as a singer and writer.
