Kor joins the war effort at Worf's side.
The aging Klingon hero Kor, first seen in the original series and now losing his memory and influence, asks Worf to help him find a post that will give him a warrior's death. Martok holds a grudge because Kor once blocked his entry to the officer ranks on account of his low birth, but Worf has Kor appointed third officer of Martok's ship for a raid into Dominion space.
When Martok and Worf are briefly injured, Kor takes command and, confused, relives an old battle, nearly causing disaster. He is mocked and relieved of duty. As ten Dominion ships close in, Worf plans a suicide rearguard action, but Kor sedates him and takes his place, holding off the enemy so the fleet can escape and dying as he had wished.
