Mistaken for smugglers, Archer and Tucker are sent off on a prison transport, which other prisoners hijack while they are aboard.
After leaving the Enolian homeworld, Archer and Tucker are wrongly identified as smugglers and put aboard a prison transport bound for the penal colony Canamar. T'Pol persuades an Enolian official that they are innocent, but before they can be released a prisoner named Kuroda breaks free and seizes the transport.
Archer gains Kuroda's trust by helping him escape pursuing patrol ships, and Kuroda reveals a plan to meet another ship and destroy the transport with the other prisoners aboard. Archer and Tucker work against him, Reed and Mayweather meet the transport when it docks, and the prisoners are evacuated while Kuroda stays behind.
