Obel Wochak is a Klingon general and former lover of Nahla Ake who claims a new homeworld for his endangered people by staged conquest.
Obel Wochak is a Klingon general leading his people after the Burn, when the destruction of Qo'noS left the Klingons an endangered species. He is also a former lover of Chancellor Nahla Ake.
In Vox in Excelso, Admiral Vance and Ake offer the Klingons asylum on Faan Alpha, a world much like Qo'noS, but Obel refuses charity and will only take a planet by conquest. At Jay-Den Kraag's suggestion, they stage a battle so the Klingons can claim it. Obel honors Jay-Den and reveals that his family survived. He was played by David Keeley.
