An alien woman stranded on a planet inside a gravimetric distortion, who survived with Tuvok and Tom Paris and fell in love with Tuvok.
Noss appears in Gravity, in which Tuvok, Tom Paris and the Doctor are stranded on a planet inside a distortion where time passes much faster than outside. She first steals equipment from their crashed shuttle, but after Tuvok saves her from a hunting party she joins them, learns to communicate, and reveals she has been trapped there for fourteen seasons.
Noss grows attached to Tuvok, who cannot return her feelings and is angered by his restraint. Before Voyager rescues them he mind-melds with her so she can understand that he does care, despite his discipline. Lori Petty played the role.
