Miral Paris is the daughter of Tom Paris and B'Elanna Torres, named after B'Elanna's mother. Before her birth, B'Elanna's fears that the child would be shunned for her Klingon features led her to try altering the fetus's genes in Lineage, and in Prophecy a group of Klingons became convinced that the unborn child was their prophesied savior, the Kuvah'Magh.
Miral was born in Endgame at the moment Voyager arrived home through a Borg transwarp hub. In the timeline from which the older Admiral Janeway travelled back, Miral grew up to become a Starfleet officer.
