Zefram Cochrane's partner in building the Phoenix, who was brought aboard the Enterprise-E and confronted Picard over his obsession with the Borg.
Lily Sloane helped Zefram Cochrane build the warp ship Phoenix in post-war Montana in 2063. In Star Trek: First Contact she was injured in the Borg attack, beamed aboard the Enterprise-E for treatment, and woke to find herself in the 24th century.
She met Picard, who took her into his confidence. When he refused to abandon the ship, Lily accused him of an Ahab-like obsession with the Borg, which convinced him to order the crew to evacuate. She returned to Earth to see the first warp flight and humanity's first contact with the Vulcans. She was played by Alfre Woodard.
