American actress who played Lily Sloane, Zefram Cochrane's partner in building the Phoenix, in Star Trek: First Contact.
Alfre Woodard, an American actress born in 1952, played Lily Sloane in Star Trek: First Contact. Lily, who helps Zefram Cochrane build Earth's first warp ship in the aftermath of World War III, is brought aboard the Enterprise-E and becomes the audience's guide to the twenty-fourth century, memorably challenging Picard's obsession with the Borg.
Woodard is one of the most honored actresses of her generation, with an Academy Award nomination for Cross Creek and four Emmy Awards, and her other work includes Desperate Housewives and Luke Cage.
