Lidell Ren was a Banean woman whose flirtation with Tom Paris was used to frame him for her husband's murder.
Lidell Ren was married to the Banean scientist Tolen Ren. While her husband entertained Harry Kim, she spent time alone with Tom Paris, and the attraction between them became part of the evidence that convicted Paris when Tolen was killed.
In Ex Post Facto, Tuvok's investigation revealed that Lidell was in fact involved with the Banean doctor who implanted Tolen's memories into Paris. The pair had altered the memory to make Paris look guilty and to smuggle hidden technical data to the Numiri. Once Tuvok exposed the scheme, Lidell and her lover were arrested by the Banean authorities.
