Bajoran militia colonel and former resistance fighter who called a ceasefire rather than fight Shakaar and Kira.
Colonel Lenaris Holem commands the Bajoran militia troops sent to capture Shakaar Edon in Shakaar. During the occupation he fought with the Ornathia resistance cell, and his brother had been held at the Gallitep labor camp that Shakaar's cell liberated.
When Shakaar's group prepares an ambush in a canyon, the fugitives recognize their pursuers as former comrades and lower their weapons. Lenaris agrees to a ceasefire and escorts Shakaar and Kira to Winn, where Shakaar announces he will run for first minister.
