Henry Janeway appears in the flashback story of 11:59, set in Portage Creek, Indiana, in late December 2000. He runs a bookstore, the last business holding out against the Millennium Gate project, and his refusal to sell would force the developers to build elsewhere. He lives with his young son Jason.
Shannon O'Donnell, whose car breaks down in town, joins his fight and grows close to him, until she is offered a job if she can persuade him to sell. After a falling out, she wins him over and he sells just before the deadline. Kevin Tighe played Henry.
