Vorta agent who posed as a fellow prisoner of the Jem'Hadar to deliver the Dominion's first warning to the Federation.
Eris is the first Vorta encountered by the crew of Deep Space Nine. Benjamin Sisko and Quark meet her as a fellow prisoner of the Jem'Hadar on a Gamma Quadrant planet, where she claims to be a refugee and wears a collar that she says suppresses her telekinetic powers.
In The Jem'Hadar, Quark picks the lock on her collar and the three escape, getting away as the Jem'Hadar destroy the USS Odyssey. Quark then discovers that the collar is a fake, and Eris admits that she is a Dominion spy before transporting away. She was played by Molly Hagan.
