Alok Sahar is a Section 31 agent who leads a covert team in the early 24th century, played by Omari Hardwick. He is a strategist haunted by his past: born in the 20th century, his family was murdered during the Eugenics Wars by a warlord named Giri, who genetically enhanced him and forced him to commit atrocities in her name.
Alok persuaded Philippa Georgiou, then running a station called Baraam, to join his team in tracking the Godsend, a weapon she had ordered built as Terran emperor. He won her trust by sharing his history, and together they uncovered a mole within their own unit.
When Georgiou's former love San died, Alok and Georgiou flew his ship through a wormhole to send the Godsend into the Mirror Universe, expecting to die, but Quasi beamed them out at the last moment.
