A Delta Quadrant species that was wiped from existence by a Krenim temporal incursion during Voyager's Year of Hell.
The Zahl are a Delta Quadrant species whose territory lay near that of the Krenim. Little of their culture or homeworld was shown on screen before the events that erased them from history.
In Year of Hell, Janeway was negotiating with the Zahl when a Krenim temporal incursion altered the timeline and wiped the Zahl from existence. The incursion was the work of Annorax, who was using his time ship to remove entire species from history in an effort to restore the Krenim Imperium to its former power.
