In The Passenger, the Kobliad criminal Rao Vantika, long pursued by Kobliad security officer Ty Kajada, appeared to die after his ship was rescued by Kira Nerys and Julian Bashir. Vantika had transferred his mind into Bashir and tried to hijack a deuridium shipment arriving at Deep Space 9. Odo and Kajada helped expose him, and he was removed from Bashir's mind.
