Kobliad security officer who spent years pursuing the criminal Rao Vantika and refused to believe he was truly dead.
Ty Kajada is a Kobliad security officer escorting her prisoner, Rao Vantika, aboard a Kobliad freighter in The Passenger. When Kira and Bashir answer a distress call, Vantika dies, but Kajada insists he has faked his death before and must still be alive somewhere on Deep Space Nine.
Her certainty makes her unpopular with the crew, and suspicion briefly falls on her as the possible host of Vantika's mind. In fact Vantika has hidden his consciousness inside Bashir. Once the crew separates him from the doctor, Kajada takes custody of the stored consciousness and destroys it, ending her long hunt.
