The Dol'drm lived on Sol V, a planet that once orbited between Mars and Jupiter where the asteroid belt now lies. They were an insectoid species, and the ancient Martians regarded them as monstrous invaders after a Dol'drm ship landed on Mars and began reshaping its terrain, sparking a bitter interplanetary feud.
In the Strange New Worlds season four premiere, the Enterprise was drawn 65 million years into the past. The Martians stole antimatter from the ship and used it to destroy Sol V, and Pike ultimately accepted that the planet's destruction had to stand to preserve the timeline.
