The USS Rhode Island was a modified Nova-class starship of the early 25th century. In the alternate future shown in Endgame, it was commanded by Captain Harry Kim, years after Voyager had finally returned home after twenty-three years in the Delta Quadrant.
When Admiral Kathryn Janeway stole advanced technology and prepared to travel back in time to bring Voyager home sooner, Kim and the Rhode Island were sent to stop her. Kim instead chose to help his former captain, and she slipped away to carry out the plan that changed history.
