The small Federation research ship of Magnus and Erin Hansen, the parents of Seven of Nine, lost to the Borg in 2356.
The Raven was a small Federation research vessel used by the exobiologists Magnus and Erin Hansen to study the Borg at close range. Their young daughter Annika travelled with them, and the family was assimilated when the Borg finally captured the ship in 2356. Annika became Seven of Nine.
In The Raven, a Borg homing signal drew Seven to the ship's wreckage on a moon in B'omar space, where she faced fragmented memories of her childhood. Voyager later drew on the Hansens' research logs from the Raven when planning a raid on a Borg ship in Dark Frontier.
