Romulan vessel of 2351 whose captain, Telek R'Mor, made contact with Voyager through a micro-wormhole spanning twenty years.
The Talvath was a Romulan vessel commanded by Telek R'Mor in 2351. Its crew was studying a micro-wormhole that, unknown to them, linked their position in the Alpha Quadrant with the Delta Quadrant of twenty years later.
In Eye of the Needle, Voyager made contact with the Talvath through the wormhole. R'Mor came aboard Voyager by transporter and agreed to pass the crew's messages on to Starfleet at the proper time, since he could not change history. Voyager later learned that he had died in 2367, before the messages could be delivered.
