The Devoras was a Romulan warbird active in 2367. Under Admiral Mendak, it met the Enterprise-D at a secret rendezvous in the Neutral Zone, where the Vulcan ambassador T'Pel was to be handed over to the Romulans for talks.
In Data's Day, T'Pel appeared to die in a transporter accident during the transfer. Data showed that the accident had been staged and that she had been beamed to the Devoras. T'Pel proved to be Sub-Commander Selok, a Romulan spy, and Picard withdrew when further warbirds decloaked around the Enterprise.
