Ancient Bajoran solar-sail vessel, a replica of which carried Benjamin and Jake Sisko to Cardassia in Explorers.
Bajoran lightships were ancient solar-sail vessels that, according to legend, Bajorans had used some eight centuries earlier to travel between star systems, pushed by the pressure of light on their huge sails.
In Explorers, Benjamin Sisko built a replica from old plans and set off with his son Jake to prove the legend possible. Caught in tachyon eddies, the little ship was swept to warp speed and carried to Cardassian space, where the Cardassians, forced to admit that ancient Bajorans could have reached Cardassia, greeted it with fireworks and a reluctant salute from Gul Dukat.
