A world with a busy trade complex where the Klingon courier Klaang stopped before crashing on Earth.
Rigel X is home to a sprawling trade complex frequented by many species. In Broken Bow, Hoshi Sato's translation of Klaang's words reveals that the courier had been on Rigel X, a fact the Vulcans had kept from the humans, and Archer takes a landing party there to retrace his steps.
At the complex Archer, Sato, Tucker and T'Pol are ambushed by Suliban agents, and Archer meets the Cabal defector Sarin. The visit is the first stop on Enterprise's maiden mission and gives the crew a first taste of the crowded, uncertain galaxy beyond Earth.
