Los Angeles is the Earth city where Voyager's crew found themselves in 1996, confronting the tech mogul Henry Starling.
Los Angeles is a major city on the west coast of North America on Earth. In 1996 it was home to Chronowerx Industries, the company Henry Starling founded using technology from the crashed timeship Aeon, and to the Griffith Observatory, where astronomer Rain Robinson worked.
In Future's End, a temporal rift sent Voyager to 1996, and the crew beamed down to the city to find Robinson and investigate Starling. The away teams moved through the city's streets, beaches and observatory while trying to keep Starling from launching the timeship. The adventure ended with the Doctor gaining his mobile emitter.
