A planet whose people invited Voyager to a conference, near a continent where an ancient energy barrier protected the primitive Ventu.
Ledos is the planet visited in Natural Law, home to the Ledosians, who host a conference on warp field dynamics. On the way, Chakotay and Seven of Nine's shuttle strikes an ancient energy barrier and crashes inside it, where they meet the Ventu, a primitive people living in the jungle.
Aboard Voyager, Tom Paris is ordered by the Ledosian authorities to take remedial flight lessons after an illegal manoeuvre. Voyager learns the barrier was built by aliens to protect the Ventu from the Ledosians, with whom they had once been at war.
