Legendary homeworld the Skrreean refugees sought beyond the wormhole, which they came to believe was Bajor.
Kentanna is the promised homeland of Skrreean legend, said to lie beyond the Eye of the Universe, the Skrreean name for the Bajoran wormhole. In Sanctuary, the Skrreeans come to Deep Space Nine believing they are close to finding it.
Their leaders decide that Bajor itself is Kentanna and ask to settle there, but the Bajoran government refuses because it cannot feed so many newcomers during a famine. The Skrreeans are forced to accept another world, Draylon II, instead.
