In Star Trek: First Contact, the Borg attack Bozeman from orbit to stop the Phoenix's launch. The Enterprise-E crew helps repair the ship and ensures Cochrane completes the flight. Its warp signature draws a Vulcan ship that lands at Bozeman, beginning first contact between humans and Vulcans.
