American actor and musician who played Captain Edward Jellico, Picard's abrasive replacement in Chain of Command.
Ronny Cox, an American actor born in 1938, played Captain Edward Jellico in the sixth-season two-parter Chain of Command. Jellico takes command of the Enterprise-D while Picard is sent on a covert mission and captured by the Cardassians, and his brusque style and clashes with Riker made him one of the series' most debated guest characters.
Cox made his film debut in Deliverance and is known for Beverly Hills Cop, RoboCop and Total Recall. He is also an active musician.
