Jennifer Lien is an American actress who was cast as Kes on Star Trek: Voyager in 1994. Kes, a member of the short-lived Ocampa species, joined the crew alongside Neelix in Caretaker and trained as a medical assistant to the Doctor, while her developing mental abilities became a recurring thread.
Lien left the main cast early in the fourth season with The Gift, in which Kes's powers transform her. She returned for the sixth season episode Fury. Her film work includes American History X.
