American actor who played Nog, the young Ferengi who became the first of his species to join Starfleet, throughout Deep Space Nine.
Aron Eisenberg was an American actor and podcaster known for playing Nog on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine from the first season to the finale. Nog grew from Jake Sisko's mischievous friend into a Starfleet cadet and officer, and The Siege of AR-558, in which he loses a leg in combat, gave Eisenberg some of his strongest material.
Eisenberg also appeared on Star Trek: Voyager as Kar, a young Kazon, in Initiations. In later years he co-hosted the rewatch podcast The 7th Rule with Cirroc Lofton. He died in 2019.
