The unified world government of Earth in the 22nd century and a founding member of the United Federation of Planets.
United Earth is the planetary government that unified humanity's nations in the period after World War III. In Enterprise it oversees Earth's Starfleet and its diplomatic relations, and in 2155 Prime Minister Nathan Samuels leads Earth as it hosts talks on a new alliance with Vulcan, Andoria and Tellar.
The government faces the xenophobic Terra Prime movement, which seeks to drive all aliens from Earth during those talks. United Earth later joins the other founding worlds in creating the United Federation of Planets in 2161, and Earth remains the Federation's political centre.
