In 1937 the Briori abducted about three hundred humans from Earth, including Amelia Earhart, and carried them to the Delta Quadrant as slaves.
The Briori visited Earth in 1937 and took around three hundred people, among them aviator Amelia Earhart and her navigator Fred Noonan, whose disappearance became one of the great mysteries of the twentieth century. Some of the abductees were kept in suspended animation, while the rest later rose up against the Briori, and their descendants built thriving cities on a Delta Quadrant planet.
In 2371 Voyager found an old Ford truck and eight humans in stasis, who were revived. Janeway offered passage home, but the abductees chose to stay with the colony.
