Sisko leads the Federation offensive at Chin'toka despite a warning from the Prophets, while a Pah-wraith-possessed Dukat strikes at the station.
Starfleet plans its first major offensive of the war, an attack on the Chin'toka system, and Sisko is to lead it even though the Prophets warn him in a vision not to leave the station. Meanwhile Dukat lets a Pah-wraith take possession of him, and Worf and Jadzia talk about having a child.
The allied fleet arrives at Chin'toka as automated weapons platforms come online, and the Defiant eventually knocks out their power source to win the battle. On the station, the possessed Dukat attacks Jadzia in the Bajoran temple and the Pah-wraith enters an Orb, causing the wormhole to collapse. Jadzia dies, and Sisko, feeling he has failed the Prophets, leaves the station for Earth.
