Discovery and the Enterprise battle Section 31's fleet, helped by Klingon ships brought by Tyler and by Kelpien and Ba'ul ships. Admiral Cornwell dies sealing off an unexploded torpedo lodged in the Enterprise, and Georgiou destroys Control by magnetizing the nanites in Leland's body.
In the suit, Burnham travels through time to create the signals that led the crew through the season, then leads Discovery into a wormhole to the year 3188. Spock recommends that Discovery and its crew never be spoken of again, Starfleet records it as destroyed, and Tyler takes charge of Section 31. Olatunde Osunsanmi directed the second season finale.
