Archer rescues a slave girl from an alien market, but she is a Xindi agent gathering biological data on humans.
Looking for a compound to shield the hull, Enterprise visits a floating alien bazaar, where Archer refuses to buy a woman named Rajiin from a slaver. She follows him anyway, and Archer takes her aboard, promising to return her home. Rajiin then uses unusual abilities to put crew members into a trance and scan their biology.
Caught trying to flee, she admits she has been gathering information for the Xindi Reptilians, and two Reptilian ships attack Enterprise and retrieve her before escaping through a subspace vortex. The Xindi Council then plans a biological weapon using the data she stole. T'Pol and Tucker's neuropressure sessions continue in a subplot. The episode was directed by Mike Vejar.
