Harry Mudd sells a love potion on a mining planet.
Harry Mudd is back, selling a love potion to miners on the planet Motherlode. He uses it to take advantage of the miners and to make money, but there is a catch. Kirk and the crew find that the potion has side effects, and that Mudd's deceit has caught up with him.
The story is the third appearance of Mudd in the franchise and is played for laughs, with a tone typical of the character. It pokes fun at the idea of an easy solution to loneliness. Fans enjoy seeing Roger C. Carmel's character return in animated form, and the story's lighthearted ending.
