Quark's attempt to woo a Klingon woman gets complicated.
Grilka, the Klingon noblewoman Quark was once briefly married to, comes to the station for financial advice. Worf is drawn to her but is told his dishonoured status rules him out, while Quark also wants to win her. Worf and Jadzia Dax coach Quark in Klingon courtship, and when Grilka's bodyguard Thopok challenges him to a duel, Worf steers Quark's movements by remote control so he can win.
Worf's frustration finally pushes Dax to make her own feelings plain, and the two begin a romantic relationship. In a subplot, O'Brien and Kira, who is carrying the O'Briens' baby, struggle with a growing mutual attraction while living with Keiko. Ronald D. Moore wrote the episode, which Andrew J. Robinson directed.
