Neelix investigates a traitor on board.
When Tom Paris abruptly leaves Voyager and joins a Talaxian ship, the crew believes he has had enough of life on board. Meanwhile, Neelix hosts a morning show for the crew and begins looking into what is happening with his friend.
The episode is a mystery that plays with the audience's assumptions about Paris, and it shows the growth of the character from the troubled man seen in the pilot. It also provides a look at Neelix's ambition to be a broadcaster, and it takes a more serious turn when the real reason for the departure is revealed.
