On a welcoming planet each crewmember faces illusions of their deepest desires, and Dal must break free to rescue them.
The crew lands on a seemingly welcoming M-class planet and sets out in the Protostar's exploration vehicle. Splitting up, each of them is lured by a vision of what they want most; for Dal, it is the parents he cannot remember.
Dal sees through the illusion and rushes to save the others, who are being drawn in by the living planet. Meanwhile Gwyn escapes her confinement, takes control of the ship and gets clear with Murf moments before the planet flings the Protostar kilometers away. Lisa Schultz Boyd wrote the episode.
