Thieves steal Voyager's computer core and the Doctor's mobile emitter, and Janeway enlists a holographic Leonardo da Vinci to recover them.
Raiders use a powerful transporter to steal equipment from Voyager, including its computer core and the Doctor's mobile emitter, which carries away Janeway's holographic Leonardo da Vinci. The crew tracks the stolen goods to a busy trading world, where Janeway finds Leonardo, convinced he is in the New World of his own era, working for a wealthy patron named Tau who deals in stolen technology.
Posing as a buyer, Janeway enlists Leonardo's help to locate and retrieve the core. With his maps and his ingenuity, the pair evade Tau's guards and take off in one of Leonardo's gliders before Voyager beams them aboard. John Rhys-Davies plays Leonardo.
