Daniels sends Archer and T'Pol to Detroit in 2004, where three Xindi Reptilians are secretly developing a biological weapon to wipe out humanity, defying a council ban on such weapons. The pair track the aliens to an abandoned factory on Carpenter Street and find Loomis, a blood bank worker who has been delivering kidnapped people to them.
Archer poses as one of the victims to get inside, destroys the equipment and kills two of the Reptilians, then corners the last one on the roof as it tries to release the agent. The pair tag future artifacts and return. In the epilogue, police arrest Loomis, who nobody believes. The episode was directed by Mike Vejar and written by Rick Berman and Brannon Braga.
