A Medusan on the Protostar crew.
Zero is a Medusan crew member of the starship Protostar in Star Trek: Prodigy. Medusans are beings whose appearance is so overwhelming that other species can lose their minds if they look at them, so Zero wears a containment suit that protects those around them.
Zero is a calm, analytical, telepathic presence among the young crew. They communicate through a quiet and thoughtful manner and develop close relationships with Rok-Tahk and the others as they search for their place in the galaxy. Their unique abilities and perspective help the crew handle strange threats, and their friendship shows that what lies behind a mysterious exterior can be gentle and kind.
Zero endures as one of the franchise's most inventive new species. They bring a different way of thinking to the crew and a reminder that differences can be strengths.
