Vorta negotiator outwitted by Quark's improvised team of Ferengi during a prisoner exchange to recover Ishka from the Dominion.
Yelgrun is a Vorta who handles the Dominion's side of a prisoner exchange after Ishka, the mother of Quark and Rom, is captured by the Dominion. Quark assembles a team of Ferengi, including Rom, Nog, Brunt and his cousin Gaila, to bring her home in exchange for the captured Vorta Keevan.
In The Magnificent Ferengi, the exchange is arranged at the abandoned station Empok Nor, but Keevan is accidentally killed before it takes place. The Ferengi improvise a desperate bluff, rescue Ishka and leave Yelgrun outmanoeuvred. He was played by Iggy Pop.
