One of four Ferengi who incapacitate the Enterprise crew and loot the ship.
Ulis is one of a group of Ferengi who use a gas device to knock out the Enterprise crew and then board the ship to plunder it. In Acquisition he and his companions Krem, Muk and Grish search for valuables and a vault they are convinced Archer is hiding.
Ulis subdues Trip Tucker, who escaped the gas, with his electro-whip, but Archer and Tucker play on the Ferengi's greed with a story about the vault while T'Pol sets the raiders against each other. The crew recovers the stolen goods and sends the Ferengi away.
