Emotional Vulcan who forced a mind-meld on T'Pol in 2152, infecting her with Pa'nar Syndrome.
Tolaris was a member of the V'tosh ka'tur, Vulcans without logic who sought to embrace their emotions, serving aboard Captain Tavin's ship, the Vahklas. In Fusion, he drew T'Pol into exploring the emotions she normally suppressed, leading her into an intimate mind-meld.
When T'Pol tried to break off the meld, Tolaris forced it on her, leaving her traumatized. The violation later proved to have infected her with Pa'nar Syndrome, a disease spread by mind-melds, whose diagnosis in Stigma exposed her to Vulcan prejudice.
