A charming rogue freighter captain who was pursued by two angry worlds while visiting the Enterprise-D.
Thadiun Okona captained the cargo ship Erstwhile. In The Outrageous Okona the Enterprise-D helped him repair his ship, and he soon charmed several crew members. Then ships from two neighboring worlds arrived and demanded that he be handed over, one claiming he had fathered a child and the other that he had stolen a jewel.
It emerged that Okona was covering for Benzan, a young man of the other world who had fathered the child and stolen the jewel to marry the woman. The two families accepted the match, and Okona went on his way.
